Training
I set out today with a vague idea to run along the Thames, pushed a little hard early in with new shoe issues, managing 20 miles. Whilst the distance/interruptions weren’t what I was after, there were a few awesome takeouts from the experience, running through/alongside some incredible icons of London.

Which is where I had to stop 😅 part of the novelty was complete silence in areas I usually avoid running through as they’re too crowded. Although I’m hoping we can recover and return to work (and the pub) soon, I’m also making it my mission to take in the apocalyptic surroundings and intriguing eeriness as much as I can while it’s there.
It was a longer daily activity, so I ensured to keep my distance and am very grateful to train towards three marathons at the end of the year which I’m running for @macmillancancer - link in my bio to donate 🙏🏼
To see the sites I’d recommend running or cycling as you can cover the most ground whilst still following the lockdown rules which are important for all of us to adhere to in order to get through this as swiftly and safely as possible.
