Plenty of updates
New music, new website, new video. Whoa! How best to share these updates I wondered. Staggered and planned to the right moment maybe. Take influence from Steve Jobs’ inspiring announcement of the iPhone, I thought. Well that’s a bit much, and current times aren’t particularly fitting or appropriate for either. So, here we are!
‘My World’ is a song I wrote for my Dad, he was diagnosed with myeloma cancer which was devastating for us all. He’s doing really well and in good spirits, and we’re really proud of how strong he’s been through it all. I’m running the 2020 London Marathon, Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris (and was to be the Berlin Marathon until it was cancelled) raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support. If you can, please help by sparing what you can at donate.flett.co and we can make a difference together.
My good friend Aaron Sampson helped to model ‘No Matter Where You Are’ into a music video. He didn’t just help, he encouraged me and made it happen. We all need people like Aaron in our lives, and Richard J Moir Filmmaker for helping out too. I recently read on the importance of making time for those that energise you, and fully appreciate it.
I wish that I had a breakthrough new phone or cool device to share that will help ease these times, and I’m sure Apple and others will have something in the pipeline, but for now I’m doing what I can, which is some new music and the site below. Enjoy!
